VINNOVA (The Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems) - Brussels Office

Mission

VINNOVA aims to promote growth and prosperity throughout Sweden with an annual budget of around 200 MEUR. The main area of responsibility comprises innovations linked to research and development.
The agency has the national responsibility for providing information and advice on EU's Framework Programme for Research and Technical Development and is also the national coordinator for EUREKA and COST.
The Brussels Office is a part of VINNOVA’s International Collaboration and Networks Division.

Clients

VINNOVA’s clients include companies (in particular SMEs), universities and higher education establishments, research institutes, intermediaries and other public funded bodies.

Activities/services of the Brussels Office

Build and maintain contacts and networks in Brussels
Monitoring and analysing EU Research and Innovation Policy
Assist VINNOVA and other Swedish research funding agencies
Assist and facilitate contacts in Brussels for the Swedish research community
Organise meetings and seminars in Brussels
Provide meeting facilities in Brussels
