the Swiss Information Network on EU research programmes, (i.e. Head Office
with National Contact Points, and Regional Offices at universities and other
research institutions)
Researchers
from Universities, Federal Institutes of Technology, Universities of Applied
Sciences, industry and from other private or public research institutions
Services
Provide
focused information on current developments in European research, innovation
and education programmes (e.g. through SwissCore Synopsis)
Advise on
European research and innovation policy and anticipate trends
Facilitate
access to European authorities
Inform on
Swiss research, innovation and education policy
Increase
presence of Swiss research in Brussels (e.g. trough Swiss Science Briefing,
SwissCore Annual Event)
Organise
training seminars and visiting programmes in Brussels
Provide
office space, meeting rooms and infrastructure for visitors and project
teams
Support to
Swiss scientists seeking European partners (IGLO partner search)
Opportunities of traineeship and stage at SwissCore to become familiar with
procedures in the EU and interaction with the Brussels research community
